This program is multi user ready and can be used on a local area network (at no extra charge, by the way). We recommend Novell Netware, or other true File Server based network. We do not recommend peer to peer networking. In peer to peer networks one workstation type PC is generally used by one person for day to day activity while also sharing files. This is not recommended.
The default installation copies all the programs files, reports and sample data to the folder C:\CSW7 if the default installation is accepted. During the installation a different directory can be specified, such as C:\Program Files\CSW. If you want to use the program on a network you will want to create a shared folder on the server and be sure that each workstation has proper rights to that folder (read, write, erase, modify, create). You will want each user to map the same drive letter to that shared folder. We recommend using mapped drive letters rather than UNC paths (\\server\folder). After this has been done, run the setup from each workstation and change the installation from C:\csw7 to the drive letter and folder you have shared on the file server. When each user on the network then launches the program from the created icons they will all be accessing the same data.
